For My Colleagues....

In any society or gathering, there are always terms and slangs that are peculier to dat environment. My workplace is one of such gatherings. We have slangs like "monkeys", "faffing", "caging monkeys", "CYA mails", "fluffing, fluffer", "kx" etc.

One of such is a monkey. this means a work that was not pre-planned to be carried out, but was just flung to a resource from an higher ranking resource. Getting such work done is called caging monkeys. And fluff! damn, dat's wat you do when u fluff around...what? I mean, fluff is when u say a lot of things, but pple can ahrdly make any tangible sense out of it.

After a two week Solution Delivery Fundamentals course, below is a little thing that happend in me. WNTFM? simply 2 make my colleagues laugh and mo beautiful....enjoy it

When monkeys come my way to try,
Thanx 2 the colleague who just "stands by." (faffing)
Perhaps there's nothing he can do--
The caging is strictly up to moi;
For there are monkeys all my own,
And so d caging I must do alone;
Times when fluff cannot smooth the road
Nor teamspirit lift the heavy load,
But just to know I have a colleague
Who will "stand by" until the end, (even if he's faffing)
Whose sympathy through all endures,
Whose warm handclasp always cures --
It helps, someway, to pull me through,
Although there's nothing he can do.(check d KX?)
And so with fervent heart I pray,
"God bless the colleague who just 'stands by'"!
