Love, they say is blind...but wt these feelings of mine I can see. Lord knows most of us know wat or whom we want, its just un42n8 that we settle for less when we can't get what we want. But wat is life all about if we can't achieve our true heart desires? Anywayz, some of us can't settle for less. And when i realized dat, below is d little thang that came 2 my mind. Enjoy!

Riding high on the flapping wings of my butterfly,

feeling the pressure of the wind on my face.

The warmth of the pure atmosphere where I lie,

tugging gently at my shoe lace.

I am beyond words cos I feel rather free,

far from the rejection of ur heart, I want 2 flee.

That u will never be mine, I dont want 2 agree,

cos d reality of dat will make me a new and bad breed,

and to find whom 2 take ur position is not yet my creed!

I saw ur face and I ride with the ocean tide

I think abt u and I glow with a blissful pride

I imagine u loving me and I want u as my bride.

I know u r not a slogan but a poetry

20yrs 2 come, with u I want 2 write my history,

Do you know when I wake up,

before I even apply my make up, lol

I say a little prayer 4 us 2make up,

and build a relationship that we can always keep up.

Aint no way I want u outta my sight,

cos every day and every blessed night

I keep you close 2 my heart

far closer and nearer than my dampish cotton shirt

and finally, at ur love port my ship wanna berth!
